Account Manager, Client Services

We are seeking a results-oriented Account Manager to manage and grow productive relationships within our National Publisher / Station Tune-in Channels. This position will work closely with our clients, partners, Sales team, Client Services team and Creative & Marketing teams. The ideal candidate will have a solid track record of successful relationship management as well as strong knowledge of the online advertising space including media planning, creative, and publisher trafficking. Proven analytical thinking, leadership, problem solving, project management, meeting revenue goals, and working across functional groups are musts.

This role requires a hands-on approach, strong ownership, and an ability to navigate through ambiguous settings to get the work done in a dynamic environment.  Candidate must be an effective communicator at all organizational levels in both oral and written formats.  The tenacity to develop ideas independently and thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment is essential for success.

Specific job responsibilities include:

  • Manage existing partner relationships to drive further Mixpo adoption, identify business needs/opportunities, increase campaign renewals & participating stations footprint
  • Partner with Sales to build strong communication channels at all levels of the client organization, set proper expectations, provide clear status communications, and manage towards a growth plan
  • Support & coordinate activation and launch of new partners while tracking KPI’s like renewals & spend
  • Actively contribute to channel growth by meeting/exceeding revenue targets
  • Partner with Client Services Managers to ensure that campaign success is communicated to customers, goals are being met and expectations are properly set
  • Educate customers on ad formats, media plan options and creative best practices
  • Analyzing the business: Conduct deep dive analysis and provide routine sales/executive-level reporting on the Partners current business and future opportunities. Provide recommendations and action plans based on data
  • Work with Sales/Marketing to execute and manage ongoing partner communications

Specific job requirements include:

  • Minimum 4-5 years of Account Management experience at an online advertising technology, agency or publisher business
  • Bachelor’s Degree required, Marketing or equivalent degree preferred
  • Knowledge of interactive advertising and online media. Rich media advertising experience preferred
  • Experience working closely with sales, technical support, product management and software development groups
  • Ability to work successfully with teams, handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Ability to effectively communicate progress and objectives to upper management
  • Proficiency with Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Strong entrepreneurial attitude required
  • Experience in a start-up or fast paced technology environment desirable
